CAREweb - Technical Requirements

Hardware

Up to 10 concurrent users: Pentium 4 3.0 GHZor better / 512 MB RAM (1 GB recommended) / 500 MB Disk Space

11 to 20 concurrent users: Pentium 4.6 GHZ or better / 1 GB RAM or better / 500 MB Disk Space

21+ concurrent users:CPU Pentium(xeon recommended) or better / 1.5 GB RAM or better / 1000 MB Disk Space

Note that CAREweb can run on lower hardware specifications; however, this reduces its performance.

Software

Microsoft Windows 2000 server or MS Windows 2003.*

MS Internet Information Services 5.0 or later

MS .NET Framework 1.1

MS SQL Server 2000

*Note: for installing CAREweb on a standalone pc, you can use MS Windows XP Professional.

Client Browser:

Users need only MS Internet Explorer version 5.1 (the version of Internet Explorer in XP) or higher to run CAREweb (if you have an older version of MS Internet Explorer, you can download the new version free from www.microsoft.com).

CGC are justifiably proud of our industry-leading ERM software, CARE 2004 and CAREWeb (CARE stands for Control and Risk Evaluation).

We initially developed the software as a tool to use ourselves, in our role as consultants to our clients.

The software attracted so much interest that we make it available to organizations to use themselves, either on a local stand-alone basis (which can run on a laptop) or web-based, enabling integration throughout a distributed organization.

Naturally, we offer training in the use of the software, to enable you to get the maximum benefit from it.

The software is available in various language versions: currently English, Arabic and Mandarin, but if you need it in another language we are happy to quote for adding this functionality.
